Here we will cover some basics of Plant Nutrition Theory and Natueco science

  1. We all know that plants extract nutrients from soil by it’s white roots. We help the plants to develop the feeder roots by providing well structured nursery soil which is rich in microbes and nutrients. We increase the soil nutrients with ash which is well decomposed black biomass combination of green leaves (both tender and mature) and plants at the flowering stage. Nutrition provides life to soil, fibrous material provides structure to the soil.

  2. To fulfill the need of nutrients add 25g of ash at the active feeder roots area of a plant every 100 days. The science behind this is: whatever nutrients are taken by the plant from the soil are replenished by burning wood and providing that ash to the soil. It can be studied by burning the different parts of a plant that has grown for 3 months.

  3. A plant uses water for its intake of nutrients from the soil. This process takes place by ion exchange. Water becomes a medium between the roots and the soil. Plants give an atom of hydrogen to the soil and take Potash and other nutrients inside. So a thin medium of water is necessary in between the roots and the soil.

  4. Cellulose and fiber get converted into compost and takes the form of humus. Thus we provide structure to roots for their development and health to the plants. Amrutjal and tender leaves can increase life (microbes) in the soil. Ash can add 100 nutrients to the soil. To fulfill the need of basic nutrients and microbes 25 gm ash is required per square foot of soil every 100 days.

  5. Five kg plant dry weight can be formed with 1000 litres water. That means with 1 litre of water per square foot, 30-gram plant dry weight can be formed in 10 days. On the other hand 3 to 4 grams dry weight (glucose) per square foot per day can be developed by a matured green leaf. This dry weight is equivalent to 12 to 16 kilo calories. This means 1 gram of dry weight is equal to 4 kilo calories.

  6. It takes 800 kilo calories of energy to create a single litre of rain water (accounting for evaporation of seawater, cloud formation and rain fall) and eight hundred kilo calories is equal to 1 unit of electricity. It means 1 unit of electricity can be developed by 1 kg of dry biomass.

IMPORTANCE OF LEAF (CANOPY) AREA.

There should be simultaneous matching growth of storage organs of the plant at the time when the optimum photosynthesis is taking place in the matured leaves. The storage organs vary from crop to crop.
Further out of 3 to 4 gms. of dry matter (sugar) produced per day per sq. foot, distribution of sugar takes place for fruits, stem, branches, leaves, wood, pith, bark etc. For instance, out of every 3 gms. of sugar produced by a grape plant, only one gram of sugar goes for fruits, one gram for stem, branches and leaves and the remaining one gram for metabolism.
Therefore, if farmer understands this knowledge of canopy index and dry matter production through his own experimentation, his entire approach of farming changes from routine farming to scientific farming with mathematical precision.
The cellulose and lignin parts of the plants on decomposition yields humus and ligno-proteins. So returning these parts of the plants to the soil in open pits or heaps or bundles or open trenches, aerobic decomposition in situ will go on adding these components that give our soil the form and structure needed for lush, luxuriant growth of roots with well developed root mat, on which the health of plant depends.

  1. Remove any soil on the roots before planting (if the soil is made up of masala mitti, there no need to remove it)

  2. Cut any black roots present. Black roots are dead roots and by cutting them we help new roots grow easily

  3. Dip the plant in amritjal. This increases the effect of microbes near the roots. After this use ash so that the cut roots are protected from viruses and the roots can get potash to grow

  4. Put the plant on a 6 inch layer of masala mitti. Fill the roots with masala mitti.

  5. Add up to 4 inches of mulch.

  6. Give 4 litres of masala mitti per square foot of canopy. As the canopy grows add more masala mitti away from the stem but inside the canopy.

If you bring long lived tree from a nursery:
  1. Remove the plastic bag

  2. Dip the plant in water up to the level of the soil

  3. Remove soil gently so avoid injuring the roots

  4. Sprinkle ash on the roots. This is very important to prevent infections to the roots. If there are some black roots cut them so that new roots can grow more easily

  5. Make a layer of 6” of masala mitti. Spread the roots of the plant parallel to the land it and cover it slowly with masala mitti.

  6. Fill it with masala mitti up to the nursery soil level. The masala mitti should be given 4 litres per square foot of canopy

A detail project is explained along with Gangama Mandal. This program involved only Rs.1000/-per family to provide full nutrition to the last family. This Gangama Mandal will save Rs.10000/- per year as they will consume from this Mandal it self.

Concept
Direct nutrition for children, Women and all the family by raw eating, with minimum starter cost or input and minimum watering (using as possible as waste water of shower and wash)
Gangama Mandal is composed of 7 parts: one for each day. When the family goes to the bath, they can plant seeds, watering or harvesting.
It is ten meter Diameter having three parts.

First part is of two meter Diameter from the center on the radius of the circle we can plant

1, Papaya 4, - 2,Banana 4 – 3, Corn 16 – 4, Pinepal 8 – 5, Sweet Potato, 6, Landi Paper

Second Circle with equal seven partition will be planted with crops which consumed daily as well as produce also come in repitation by four to seven days.

Like Dhania, Methi, Palak, Cucumber, Phudina, Kadi Pata, Tulas, Gavti Cha, Tometo,Brinjal,
Chili, etc.

Outer circle will be planted with the crop which comes once and to be harvested or which take long time to yield.

Like Sugarcane, Red bit, All herbal plant which required for maintain the health of the family about fifteen of such, Dudhi,Turia, Galka, Caret, Chauli, Tur, Ground Nut,

Aim is family must have all nutrition and child can enjoy raw diet in absence of mother while she goes for work in the field.

Points to keep in mind
  • Plants don’t need excess water. They only need moisture. With careful water management, one can grow plants with very little water. This is done by keeping a proper level of moisture by mulching. A good example of this is rain fed forests.Excess water retards the activity of feeder roots. It takes 52 hours to make the feeder roots functional again.

  • The slope of the land should be in east to harvest maximum morning sunlight

  • Plants attract insects to help rid themselves of excess nitrates. Insects help transfer these nitrates to the soil to enrich it. Human interference (by killing insects with pesticides) is harmful to both the plant and the food value of the plants for humans.

  • Plants should be shielded from sunlight from the west because after noon, sun rays generate more heat and give sunstrokes to the plant stems

  • By pruning the branches of a tree, its canopy can be increased. With an increase of canopy the plant can harvest more sunlight and convert it to more food through photosynthesis. This food allows the plant to produce more fruits flower, grains, branches, roots, stem, etc.

  • Prune the branches, which are not capable of production, those which are dry or are infected by some disease.

  • If you want to grow the branch then prune at a distance of 1 feet from the node so that it helps to bring the food storage to the new branch

  • Don’t cut the branches growing towards the sky. Only cut branches growing towards the ground.

  • Generally pruning should be done after the plant gives flowers and fruits. But we also can prune for shape or some other purpose

  • To the portion of the plant exposed due to pruning, apply a paste of fresh cow dung and ash. By applying this paste we can protect the wound from viruses and insects. At the same time it reduces evaporation of fluids

  • Some long lived trees stop fruiting. If these are pruned 70% they start fruiting again

  • Pruning can also control the height of a tree allowing you to pick fruits by hand

Reasons to avoid pits
  • It stops violation of the land.

  • Vitality of the land is retained.

  • We can prevent the carbon of the land from being converted into CO2.

  • It helps the land hold water which is available in the form of dew in the morning
